• Account info: the email address and password (or Google identity) you provide when you sign up.
• Billing info: name, billing address, last four digits of card, and Stripe customer ID. Full card data is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.
• Your deal data: property addresses, recipient names/emails, deal numbers, offer email text, and offer status that you enter into the calculator. This is stored in your account and visible only to you.
• Usage analytics: we may log basic page views, feature usage, and error reports to improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To process your subscription payments through Stripe;
• To send transactional emails (welcome, receipts, password reset, cancellation);
• To respond to support requests;
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or deal data with third parties for marketing or advertising. We do not aggregate user deal data into a public dataset.

4. Service providers we use

To run the Service we share limited information with the following processors:

• Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account & deal data)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Netlify — website hosting
• Resend (or our chosen email provider) — transactional email delivery

Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your information.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use authentication cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to cache application state (such as the active strategy tab). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and deal data while your account is active. If you cancel and request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain (such as billing records).

7. Your rights

You can:

• Access and update your account email and password from your dashboard;
• Cancel your subscription at any time;
• Request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@thebestoffer.ai;
• Export your saved deals and offer history on request.

If you are in California, the EU, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy laws, you may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security including HTTPS, encrypted database connections, hashed passwords, and access-controlled API endpoints. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
